A 90km pilgrimage of walking, prayer, adoration, fraternity, and thanksgiving from Gilgil through Ol Kalou and Nyahururu to Subukia Shrine.

Purpose: walk together in prayer, adoration, fraternity, and thanksgiving as we celebrate the feast of St Francis of Assisi.
Members, families, parish groups, and friends are invited to join for one day or for the full 90km journey from Gilgil to Subukia Shrine.
Requirements: comfortable walking shoes, modest clothing, a Bible or prayer book, rosary, water bottle, personal medication, sun protection, torch, sleeping items, and a small backpack.
Please walk responsibly, stay with the pilgrimage group, follow the coordinators, respect each parish and host community, and arrange your own transport for joining or leaving at a stop.
Prayer of St Francis: Lord, make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console, to be understood as to understand, to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive, it is in pardoning that we are pardoned, and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen.
